The whole point of a solar and battery system is that it just works. The problem is that when it quietly stops working, you often do not find out until the power bill arrives or the lights go out during an outage. Alerts close that gap.
What you can watch
- Battery state of charge above or below a threshold you choose.
- Grid offline, detected from the inverter's own status.
- Solar production unexpectedly low during daylight hours.
- Home load spikes, and grid import or export beyond a limit.
- No data received for X minutes — a simple, powerful "is my system even reporting?" check.
- Today's total yield below a target, evaluated after the solar day is effectively over.

Designed to avoid false alarms
Each rule has a cooldown so you are never spammed, and the smarter rules are time-aware. The "today's solar yield below" alert, for example, only evaluates in the evening. Checking it at 8 a.m. would fire every single day, which would make it useless.
